Every year the Boulder Rotary Club provides scholarships to local high school students who are enrolling as freshman at Colorado colleges and universities.

To fund these scholarships, Boulder Rotarians offer a donation of $1 per every year they are old on their birthday. Additionally, many Rotarians and guests donate to the marble raffle fund at the Club meeting every Friday - proceeds from the raffle go towards funding these scholarships.

Brad Wiesley and Erin Ratay are co-chairs of the Resident High School Scholarship committee.

2015-2016 School Year Scholarships - Application Process Closed:
Boulder area Rotary Clubs will award 8-12 scholarships to seniors graduating from Boulder Valley High Schools in 2015. The awards are made based upon projection of ability to succeed in college, scholastic and extra-curricular activities during high school as well as financial need. The Rotary Clubs reserve the right to award scholarships to alternate candidates should any scholarship recipients fail to meet qualifications or receive additional scholarships which preclude the need for a Rotary scholarship (example: Boettcher Scholarship).

The Boulder Rotary Club typically awards eight to ten “resident scholarships” ranging from $500 upwards that may be used for tuition or fees for the recipient’s freshman year at any accredited college or university, including community colleges, in the State of Colorado. The grant will be forwarded directly to the college or university that the student attends in Colorado.

The 2015 application process has closed. Please check the website in the Spring of 2016 to apply for the following school year.
