YOUNG RYLA is a similar program to RYLA (see below) for outstanding middle school boys and girls, an all-expenses paid five-day camp bringing together students from northern Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska to share ideas about becoming better leaders. Activities such as problem-solving games, a challenge course, zip line, skits, group discussions and teambuilding activities help build confidence and leadership skills. RYLA, for seventh-graders going into 8th grade, is held at the Ponderosa Retreat Center in Larkspur, Colorado.
